We all know that I'm a nail polish junkie, but it occurred to me this weekend that my collection is really getting out of control. With the shopping I've been doing lately combined with the trip to Ulta I made with my cousin, I've somehow acquired 7 more polishes. That number on its own isn't high at all, but then I guiltily remember that I've got at least 50-odd bottles in my nightstand drawer. I'm too afraid to count my collection as the exact number of polishes I own will terrify me, but it's easily into the sixties now and I absolutely have got to stop.
So I solemnly swear, here on my blog, that these will be the last nail polishes I buy until 2012. Normally when people go on beauty product purges where they refrain from buying a particular item, they do it for a whole year--but I think we all know I could never last that long!
Here are the purchases I made from The Last Polish Haul. (This is so serious, it deserves a capitalized title!)
(Left to right: OPI My Private Jet, Sally Hansen Pedal to the Metal, China Glaze Midtown Magic, Revlon Endless Possibilities, Revlon Carbonite, Orly Sea Gull, Hard Candy Frenzy).
I like to think I'll be able to go 3 months without buying more nail polish, but I'm sure I'll experience a lot of temptation and maybe even a little withdrawal. In fact, I wouldn't be at all surprised if my first blog post of 2012 was a nail polish haul.
And I don't think anyone else would be, either.
Special occasion makeup look coming soon!
Hope everyone had a great weekend!
